What if the rat you want isnt in your state?

We offer shipping by air within and outside the US.  I have personal experience in both.  I am happy to report we have not had any fatalities shipping by air and feel it is very safe if done in the proper time of year and temperatures.

Cost is a big factor when it comes to shipping rats.  Below is an average estimated cost.
Prices may very depending on the Airline.  A breakdown of this cost consists of...

 $150.00   Shipping cost via Airline
*$45.00  An airline approved shipping container
$30.00 Fuel, Mileage, and Vehicle ware and tear

*The shipping container fee is refundable upon return of the container.  The container must be in the same condition it was when it was sent.
Remember to figure in the price of the rats, breeders purchasing breeding stock in bulk will get a discounted price.  Most out of state or country breeders will not be required to pay for any breeder contract fees.

I will not ship if the weather is to hot, risking a rats life is not something I am willing to do.  I am willing to arrange evening/night flights with NO layovers in the months of July and August (risky months) but if your location is not one that can be arranged for these later flights I am willing to hold your rats for you till the weather permits.

Contact me for more details if you decide you would like to have rats shipped.  Shipping rats outside the US must be further quoted.  Contact me only if you are serious about shipping outside the US.

Note:  To those of you that found this page because you are researching or thinking of shipping your rats to others please know that many breeders have lost rats when shipping in the hot months, its a very real risk and you have to be very careful when you schedule your flights!
