CMMR Grain Mix....
You also have the option to purchase our custom gain mix. This is the same mix that we feed our rats, and that your rats are used to when you adopt. This quality mix includes nutritional ingredients and contains no corn or beans which will weight down your bag and contain little to no nutritional value. Our grain mix does include a quality dog food already mixed in. The price of our mix is comparatively priced to the lesser quality store prepackaged foods. Its is a better bang for our buck as, again, your bag is not weighted down with poor quality items like corn. Packaged in gallon size zip lock bags, each bag weighs in at roughly 5-6 lbs.

We ship all of the items listed on this page making it easy for you to get these quality items home even after your visit with the Rattery.
Email your order request to me at ColoradoRattery@aol.com so we can get your order going. Be sure to put something RAT related in the SUBJECT line so I know your email is not SPAM.
We use UPS Ground for our shipping. There are no refunds on Shipping fees.
So what do I need to let you know? Please send your address with your order so I can get you an exact total. Shipping varies from location to location and with package weight. Don't forget to include your order so I can guess the package weight which is needed to quote you accurately.
How can I save?! In most cases it only runs $2.00-$3.00 more for shipping per bag of food after the first bags weight. In the long run the more you order the more you save in shipping. ALSO if you have a business address to have your package sent to it will save you roughly $3.00 in UPS residential delivery fees.
You don't have to have your order shipped. If its cheaper for you in fuel costs to pick up your order we can make an appointment for you to come by and pick it up. We do not have "store hours" so YOU MUST HAVE AN APPOINTMENT to pick up your order. Email your order to me so I can get it ready and let me know that you would like the pickup option so we can work out a pickup time that works for both of us.
Why don't you just have a shipping price list here? UPS's rates tend to change on almost a daily basis, sometimes there is a fuel surcharge, sometimes there is a additional route charge, if your residential there is a residential delivery fee, its to hard to quote you fairly without doing it on a package to package basis. If I had to guess a price to post here it may be way higher than the actual shipping cost and I don't like to overcharge. I know its kinda a hassle but it saves you money.
How long does it take? Usually a week and a half from the time you send me your order request assuming we are both on top of our emails. Once I get your request I will send you a quote. I will wait till I get your order confirmation and confirm your payment is on the way. I will then get your order ready and ship it out the same day, or day after I receive your payment in the mail. With email, snail mail, and UPS shipping its usually one week. So don't wait till your babies are out of food, or have experienced a Hammock emergency to send me your order.
Anything Else?
The Colorado Rat Store is not an actual business. The few items we sell are personally made by us. Items like bedding, housing, cages, water bottles, wheels, and manufactured toys can be picked up at your local pet stores for same price we would pay. We don’t mark up prices on non labor items for a profit so it benefits you to save the gas or shipping charges and visit your local stores for these manufactured items. Rattie Caddie's appearance and colors may very depending on the selection. These items are hand made, not mass produced, allowing each item to be unique. Differences are minimal and each item is built with the same quality. Our grain mix may contain nuts from time to time and our grain may be processed in a location that may process nuts.
